Is everything at Grammie's Little Bakery gluten-free?
Yes. Every single item we bake is gluten-free. We do not use wheat flour or any gluten-containing ingredients. Our kitchen is a dedicated gluten-free space, which means no gluten ever enters the building, so there is no risk of cross-contamination from wheat-based products. This includes our breads, buns, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, muffins, and savoury items like pizzas and cheese buns.
Are your baked goods also dairy-free?
Yes. All of our baked goods are dairy-free. We bake with vegan butter, coconut butter, and coconut milk instead of traditional dairy butter and milk. The texture and flavour of our cakes, buttercream, and breads remain rich and satisfying without any dairy at all. If you have a milk allergy or are lactose intolerant, you can enjoy everything in our display case with confidence.
Is the bakery nut-free, including peanuts?
Yes. Grammie's Little Bakery is nut-free from the door in. We do not use any tree nuts or peanuts in any of our recipes, and no nuts are brought into the kitchen at all. This makes our treats safe to bring to schools, offices, and gatherings where someone may have a severe nut allergy.
Where is Grammie's Little Bakery located?
We are located at 403 5th St. S in Lethbridge, Alberta. We are open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. We are closed Sunday and Monday. You can order online for pickup or local delivery.
Do you take custom cake orders?
Yes. We offer made-to-order cakes including mini cakes, our Oreo Deluxe Cake, and Vanilla Confetti Cake. Because everything is baked fresh in our dedicated gluten-free, dairy-free, and nut-free kitchen, custom orders are typically ready within two business days, sometimes sooner. Contact us or order online through our Square menu to place a custom order.
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we offer local delivery within Lethbridge for a flat fee of $10. Pickup from our bakery at 403 5th St. S is always free. When you order online through our Square menu, you can choose pickup or local delivery at checkout.
